She was a sister of Ida Jane Rowe who married William Gay, Clems half brother( info passed to me from William's daughterinlaw Emma Hatfield). I'm researching the Gay family and I believe that Clem's and William's father was James B. Gay who served in the 14th GA Inf along with 3 of his other brothers(speculation at this point). Any info on this appreciated.
