Re: STEWART/THOMAS Looking for information regarding Virginia Permelia Florence Stewart b. 4 Aug. 1868 d. 24 May 1936. (Father could have been a Riley Stewart...no confirmation on this.) Her husband was Henry Jordan Thomas b. 24 Nov. 1869 d. 22 June 1905. They were married by a Rev. John B. Thomas in Laurens County, GA - on 1 Dec. 1887. (I think this John B. Thomas may have been a relative of Henry Jordan Thomas.) One of their children was my grandmother, Minnie Bell Thomas, b. 26 Sep. 1888 d. 8 Aug. 1969 GA. (Her husband was Charles Linder Webb b. 8 July 1874 d. 1941 or '42.) Other children of Henry Jordan Thomas and Virginia P. F. Stewart were: Willie b. 1890/Wimberly b. 1891/Julia b. 1893/Nannie b.1895/Henry b ca 1895/ Charlie b. 1897/Cleophas b. 1900/George Matthews b. 1906. (Dates may be off somewhat - but I have exact dates for most of the above --- somewhere!) Some of the siblings of Virginia P. F. Stewart were: Charlie b. 1864/Mary b. 1866/Docia b. 1870/Aadelia b. 1872/Leona b. 1874 - several more but I could not read the names clearly.
