Tippetts. I am Church Historian at Calvary Baptist Temple in Savannah, GA, where Rev. John T. Tippett, Jr. was pastor for 25 years. He is a descendant of Hardy Jerome Tippett (1818-1864) and Nancy Emeline Holt (1832-1871). We celebrated our 100th anniversary in 1999. I am collecting family histories on our early pastors and would appreciate any info you can share. I'll be happy to share the published info I've compiled if this is your family line.
