    3. I am searching for information regarding the family of Samuel Tippet/Tippett and his wife, Lucretia (Robinson) Tippet of Laurens Co. Samuel is found listed in the 1850 Federal Census for Laurens Co., along with two children - Joseph B., born about 1831 and Anna Tippet, born about 1835. According to the census information, Samuel Tippet was born about 1790 - his age was listed as 60 years. Samuel's wife was Lucretia Robinson, born about 1800, daughter of James Robinson, R.S. and his wife, Sarah. Apparently, Lucretia Robinson Tippet died before 1850 as she wasn't listed with her husband and children. Any information regarding this family would surely be appreciated. Lucretia Robinson Tippet was the sister of my ggg Grandfather, Robert F. Robinson of Laurens Co. Thank you. Carolyn

    3. There were Tippetts in Dooly County, too. Tippettville was named for this family. If this group connects with yours, I may have some info that you can add. I have Tippetts in my line and my husband's grandmothers grew up in this area.
