I found this obit, she was born a Thomas from Laurens Co. Ga. I have seen alot of Thomas information, but I don't know if and how this one connects. I am also interested in the Mimbs listed here, if anyone knows anything about them. Sara Elizabeth Thomas Walters 04/19/02 Services for Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Thomas Walters, 77, of Danville will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the C. Homer Adams Chapel with burial in the Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Steve Kyzer will officiate. Born in Laurens County, Mrs. Walters was the daughter of the late Chilor Oder Thomas and Mary Eva Fordham Thomas. She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death her son, Stevie Walters. Mrs. Walters died Wednesday. Survivors include her husband, Doyle Walters of Danville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine W. and Wade Payne of Danville and Beth W. and Roger Williams of Danville; son and daughters-in-law, Chilor and Sandy Walters of Montrose and Wendy Walters of Danville; grandchildren, Joey Walters of Mystic, Connecticut, Carrie Lewis of Dublin, Amber Walters of Danville, Lori Beth Williams of Dublin, Stacey Bowers of Elgyn, Texas and Tasha Mimbs of Dublin; great-grandchildren, Riley Lewis of Dublin, Elise George of Mystic, Connecticut, Erica Bowers of Elgyn, Texas, Cody Mimbs of Dublin and Taylor Mimbs of Dublin and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Benny Thomas, Jimmy Green, Danny Whittle, Verlyn Thomas, Danny Thomas, Craig Smith, Jeff Evans and Joel Cauley. The family may be contacted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Payne. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Adams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
