I am a descendent of a John Clark who married Amelia Sykes and settled in Burke County, Georgia. This John Clark was born Sept 28, 1768. I have more information if this is the lineage you are looking for. B. Sheffield
Hi, Is your John CLARK related to Charles E. CLARK, III (1782-1852) who married Sarah Collins MURPHEY (1806-1850) on 22 Sep 1826. He was a son of Charles E. CLARK, II and Anna YOUMANS of Westfield, NJ. By they way, I am not a CLARKE or CLARK, so I am not related to these individuals but they did marry into the collaterals of my DANIEL family in the Burke/Jefferson County, GA area in that time frame. I am interested in any DANIEL connections you may have in your bunch if they link back to Burke, Richmond or Jefferson County, GA. John R.
