Hello, I live about 71/2 hours away from Dublin. I'm planning to travel to Dublin soon to research my brick wall--my g-gf Ivey/Ivy MORRIS, who lived in Laurens Co. from at least 1837 when he married there until about 1849 when he migrated to Alabama. I need suggestions of EXACTLY what I should do and where I should look, since my time will be limited to ONE day of research. What are courthouse and library hours? Thanks for any suggestions. Hi, The Library opens at 10 am and closes at 8 pm on Mon, Tues, Thurs. " 10 am " at 6 pm on Wed and Sat. The Court House is open at 8 or 8:30 and closes at 4:30 I believe. The Dublin-Laurens Museum is located across from the Old Martin Theatre between the Library and the Court House. They open only in the afternoon and I believe they are closed on Monday.
