    3. Hi Lena, Burrell & Polly are my 3rd great parents through their son Burrell Hamilton and his son William Colonel and his son William Pasco and his daughter Irene Bailey Bowen. This is another one of those wiregrass GA and north FL families that migrated from NC. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. However, in 1972 I came west and found it to my liking and stayed. I live in Logan, UT and do most of my family research at the Family History Library (FHL) in Salt Lake City, UT, which is about 80 miles south of Logan. Depending on health and road conditions in winter, I am usually at FHL twice a week. Of course, the price of fuel has also created some limitations. Nowadays, two trips to SLC per week costs over $200 per month in gas. Three round trips to SLC per week costs over $300 per month for gasoline. Unfortunately, I am not blessed with an unlimited supply of money or a bottomless fuel storage tank. Since beginning to do business as Ancestor Research, Inc. (AR) in the fall of 1998, client projects have devoured the majority of the time spent at the FHL. Unfortunately, my own family history suffers. Maybe one of these days some relative will leave me enough money or value in property to devote the rest of my days to researching the Bowen and Bailey lines with all their allied lines. A college roommate had aunt leave him more than $600,000 for genealogical research of their family. As luck would have it, most of the family research to be done is in England and Europe. Most of the Bowen and Bailey ancestors came to America very early. Therefore, the primary geographic emphasis at AR is the states east of the Mississippi river. AR usually subcontracts with other genealogists who specialize in specific countries outside the US. I would be VERY interested in helping you and subsequently adding to my own store of evidence concerning the descendants and ancestors of Burrell and Polly (Land) Bailey. Let me know where you are in the research and where you want to go. I look forward to your reply!!!! Best regards, Irvin R.
