I think he was married three times. 1. Amanda Bentley (1829-?). Married in 1849. No record of her death. Children: 1. Lumpkin (1850-83) Married Martha Johnson and had 6 children. 2. Louisa. (c1853-?) Was living with Uncle John Bonds as late as 1880. No further record. 3. Laura. (1855-84) Married Henry Partee abt 1882. Had one son. Son is orphaned at 8 mos and raised by family friends. 4. Martha. (1858-1930) Marries William Levi Lee in Dec 1877 and has two sons (one is my grandfather!) 2. Elizabeth Loin. Married abt 1863. No record of her birth or death. Children: 1. Columbus ("Lum"). Born Dec 1863. Marries Dora Vance. Has 6 children. No record of death. 2. Emma. Born abt 1869. No further record. 3. Hilary. Born Mar 1871. Married Serena Wariner. Has 5 children.
