Don't you find it strange that Thomas and Hester don't have a son named Thomas? still strongly believe that he was married once before he married Hester and he had children from this marriage. Does anyone know who Tempy belongs to? The 1830 census has me totally confused Hester Lindsey is listed as head of household with two males and six females. The two males I believe are Benjamin and Ashley, however, the only females who should have been at home at this time are Winnie and maybe Jincy. Who were the other females? Where was Nancy in 1830? If she was living with her mother then there would have been four males instead of two. How do we know Thomas Lindsey died in 1818? Do you know if there is any documentaion?
