    3. Is anyone doing research on the family of William Perrien SCARBOROUGH 1815-1867? He married Penelope FORDHAM December 12 1835. Were his parents William SCARBOROUGH and Sarah CROSS or GROSS. Or was his father Samuel Franklin SCARBOROUGH. He had a son named Samuel Franklin SCARBOROUGH D.B. 1842. This line is my grandmother's maternal line. Her grandmother HOBBS was Laura Clementine SCARBOROUGH 1858-1958. Clementine's daughter Johnnie Anna HOBBS married Hardy Bryant GAY 3 Dec 1899. They had 12 children. I have a photo of the tombstone of Young Keen and his son Henry (by 3rd wife) On the Laurens Co., website under Cemeteries I believe (Keen-Fuller) is a description of what was found when the remains were moved a few hundred yards to this new place. The burial place of Lydia Dudley and Rebecca Hester are described. Let me know if you want the photo of Young Keens tombstone. If I knew about what year then maybe I be a little closer. My g.grandfather was a Keen from Laurens and my g. grandmother was a Minton who grew up in Hancock County. So I'm not sure if the picture was in Laurens or Hancock.

Looking for supporting data establishing Jonathan's children. The book "The Colemanac" has 3 children listed, however other pedigrees have listed 8 children. Would like to determine if the John Coleman (Jefferson County) that died in 1836 is a son of Jonathan. Johnathan died in 1825 and is buried in the church yard of Bark Camp Church in Burke County.
