    3. Karen, I found a B. H. Horn and a Crosby Horn, both in Laurens Co., 1850, who were slave owners. No Jacksons on the slave census. The only Albany I know of in GA is in Dougherty Co. Darleen

    1. Jackson, Early (alias Early Horn) b. abt 1833

    3. I am researching the African-American family of Early Jackson, alias Early Horn, on his Civil War Pension Application. He married Charity Hamilton is Lowndes Co., GA before her emancipation. On his Disability Affidavit he states that he lived in Madison Co., FL for 4 years and "Abany? Georgia Laurence Co. Where I was born and I lived there all my former day till I went to Madison.". Could this be Albany? He specifically states Laurence Co., but could this be Laurens? Sure could use some help on trying to figure out where Early was actually born. I believe Early was a free African-American. He fought as a Private with F2 US Colored Infantry (Union). Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Karen

    3. anyone have a mr. johnson married to charlotte sarah or sarah charlotte maiden name .unk.born abt 1750 north carolina.was in burke co ga in 1820 by 1830 she was in randolph co,ga then by 1845 she was in henry co,ala.in 1855 she listed as the oldest person in henry co,ala.at 110 yrs old.so does anyone have a mr.johnson that died say early 1800s maybe burke or around burke co,ga.this lady stops my brickwall from falling.shes in the household of elijah johnson in randolph co,ga and henry co ala.listed as a grandmother but to whom him or his kids. idella

She was born in 1878 which would only have made her two. Surely even someone who could not sutract could tell the difference between a 2 yr old and a 5 yr. old and I know she had a brother with the initals C F Parker and possibly a father or brother with the initals C A. According to my grandmothers notes, Wiley at one point married a Cassandra Crump. Like I mentioned before. I have never found mention of them getting married anywhere although a couple matching their names did get divorced in Pulaski County. If what my grandmothers notes say are true, but Cassadra Crump he also had a son named William Wiley Haskins who also moved to Florida and two daughters Fannie Idona Haskins and Lilly Haskins. (That doesnt seem right??) Lucy and Joseph both are kids and both are listed in different households as cousins of the head of household... You'll find attached the 1880 GA Census for Laurens Co. with your Dement Watson on it. His parents are listed as Dave S and Mary J.. Also attached is 1900 GA Census for Lauren Co with Dennit, age 28, (as listed in index) and Sallie, age 22,. Also their first kid, a son age one, and Dement's father, David age 67... Index says they lived in Bailey...
