    2. As requested. This is not the burial place for Jonathan and Elizabeth Cooper POPE. I haven't located it. I did visit this cemetery and discuss with Mrs. W. Coleen Pope, wife of James Clinton Pope who took care of the cemetery directly across the street from her home. There are descendents of Jonathan and Elizabeth. 2. Mary Young
    3. Hi, In response to your Arnold family post, my grandfather, whose last name was O'Sullivan, first name not clear, was married to an Arnold lady. I don't know if she would be my grandmother or step-grandmother, and would also like to have information on Arnolds in Laurens County. I am not sure at this moment, but I think in 1910 my grandfather's Family was in Macon, near my mother and her first husband, Walter King. My mother was born in Allentown, Wilkinson County and they appear in the 1890 census of Wilkinson County. By 1900, they were in Laurens County, where my grandfather apparently had a print shop or newspaper, and listed his occupation as Writer. (The Wilkinson County enumerator apparently hadn't heard of journalists, and wrote down his occupation as what looks like 'journeyman'). According to the census records, he was born in Maryland and his father was born in Ireland. I haven't been able to run this down, either. Would also like information on the Arnolds.
