Her parents must have been quite wealthy because they bought them a large home on 8 acres in almost downtown Madison in 1880 -- a year after they married. She and WRD are buried in the DANIEL family lot in the Madison City Cemetery, along with his mother, Mary Jane RENEAU, and his step father, Winfield M. RIVERS (1824-1905). I show a Leila Claude ESTES married to a Evert Edward CLARK (1866-1938) of Wellsville, Allegeny County, NY in 1918. I also show a Martha J. ESTES married to a Isaac Nathan WILCOXSON in 1854. I have connections to parts of both of these anmes and/or locations. I have a Florence Adele FISK (1852-1895) who married William Russell DANIEL (1853-1904), a older brother of my grandmother, Alice Elizabeth DANIEL (1854-1924). I also have a Mary DANIEL (b. 1848), daughter of Robert W. DANIEL and his second wife, a Julia or Rachel, married a Lewis WILCOXSON in 1868. There may be some links, here..... The BRANTLEY name is only found in the TARVER Branch of my DANIEL family. Lucretia DANIEL (1807-1849) marrried Allen TARVER, son of Mark E. TARVER. They used the BRANTLEY name as the middle name of several of their children. Lucretia was an older sister of my, GGF, Robert W. DANIEL (1809-1865). She died, we think, in Russell County, AL in 1849. The only reason I am aware of it is -- after the death of his wife, Allen TARVER dumped their four children on my GGF, Robert W. DANIEL and his younger brother, James L. DANIEL (1814-1857) of Bethany (now Wadley), Jefferson County, GA where we pick them pu on the 1850 Jefferson County, GA census living with Robert and James.....

I found this a personal website: ...Dr. Charles Edward Hilburn, a native of Dublin, Georgia He was the son of H.J. Hilburn of Dublin. He graduated from the Needles Institute of Optometry of New York and moved to Macon in 1906 to begin the practice of optometry. He later became associated with Dr. J.H. Spratling in the wholesale business of selling supplies to optometrists. Dr. Hilburn was a member of the Georgia Optometry Association, Rotary club, Kiwanis club, and was a Shriner and a Mason. Hello! Seeing that you appear to be descended from this Coleman line and have done some work on it, do you have anymore info than this concerning Theophilus Coleman? I have material, but would like to see some more info and perhaps proof of lineage. We believe that my husband's great great-grandmother was his granddaughter. I would like to help my m-i-l find more concrete proof if this is available. Can you share any info or resources that would help her research? I am not a descendant of this line, my info came about because some of my ancestors had land dealings with some of the Nelms and lived very close to them. I originally thought there might a family connection, but evidently they were only "neighbors". However I still live in this same area and often get pulled into the Nelms investigations. If for some reason you cannot get info from Judy, let me know and I will go back through my files and pull it again, but since she only recently received it, she should have it readily available. Mostly it is on her & your line, since there is not a lot known on Shine's. Good Luck.
