    2. The Dublin Library micro film collection includes films for the Dublin Newspapers for the many of the years listed in the message; (Many issues of the Newspapers were not available for filming.) I found the Athens (UGA) Georgia Newspaper micro film collection to be outstanding, but I also believe that the Dublin Library has more Dublin Newspapers on microfilm than can be found in Athens. Many of the Obituaries & Marriage Notices in early 1900s are available in a book that someone assembled many years ago. The Library in Dublin also has an Obituary Collection where they have clipped Obituaries from the Newspapers since about 1950 and pasted them on 3x5 inch cards. The cards are alphabetically filed and can be copied.

    1. [[GALAUREN]] Jemima Mills of Laurens Co GA [1820 census]
    2. This is going to 3 lists. Can anyone identify the Jemima Mills listed on the 1820 Laurens Co, GA Federal Census? She is listed as over 45, which means born 1775 or earlier. There are others 3 younger females on the census with her, but no males. Possibly a widow. Census reads:m 0-0-0-0-0-0: f 2-0-1-0-1 And then there is the possibility that Jemima is the female between 16 and 26. I guess it depends on who's living with whom.

Tippetts. I am Church Historian at Calvary Baptist Temple in Savannah, GA, where Rev. John T. Tippett, Jr. was pastor for 25 years. He is a descendant of Hardy Jerome Tippett (1818-1864) and Nancy Emeline Holt (1832-1871). We celebrated our 100th anniversary in 1999. I am collecting family histories on our early pastors and would appreciate any info you can share. I'll be happy to share the published info I've compiled if this is your family line.
