My fathers family came here from Georgia and before that north or south carolina and before that the area of Penn. and Ohio and on back to Virgina. Our earlies ggggggrandfathe here was Jereimiah Curl who is said to have come here form Georgia. He was on a census in Georgia before showing up here and before that he was in North or Soutoh Carolina I can't remember which right now. Do you have any names on your Curl family goinig back to the mid 1700's over there on your side of the tree. The name was CURLE AND CURLEE and Jereimiah dropped the e's when he got to Alabama. We could be one branch off of the same tree. Jereimaih could be a brother of the original Curle family in Georgia. Let me know what you have if anything going back to the 1700's. and I will see if we can put the pieces together. Sincerely, Vickie Curl Martin

Please visit the site and look at the pedigree chart of each participant. If you have documented your line to any of these, or a line that has not been tested, we hope you will consider joining the project. Joy Aug. 22, 2002 We received results from FTDNA for two more of our participants: 3828 and 3233. This means that we have received all of our results, except for one (yours truly). The numbers for 3828 match those of 3249, 3829, 3787, and 3785. The numbers for 3233 are unique so far, matching no other participant. Family Tree DNA's database of Recent Ethnic Origins show 29 exact matches with 3233, most listing England, Scotland, and Ireland as their country of origin. It looks as though we're going to have to start looking for some more participants! Both 3233 and 3297 have results which so far match no one else. Ideally we should recruit known distant cousins to verify their numbers, but all male Sizemore candidates should be encouraged to participate. http://mark.sizemore.net/dnaproject
