    3. I sent an E mail to PTMACAW,but it was rtnd,so I'll do it this way!! In researching the early Stephens in Ga. ,I noted your 14 Jan,2000 abstract of the Jones County land lottery, showing the following: STEPHENS,Cassa (orphans) " , Inmon " , James " , John " , John " ,Thomas " ,William " ,William B What does the terminology(orphans) denote, and can any further clarification be obtained, such as ages,or sex, particularly the name Cassa. I have docummented InmanStephens and Susannah Hobbs Stephens as my GG-Grandparentson the Upson Cty 1850 census, with the eldest son,Seaborn Riley Stephens, being my G-grandfather. I also have indications that that Inman and his parents were in Jones Cty prior to to 1820.Two girls,Rosanna Stepens,m Edward Meadows, and Alla Stephens m.John Barker. Both girls were married in Jones County.,and possibly were sisters to Inman.,and both subsequentlly moved to Upson. There is also some justification that Priscilla (Upson census 1850,aGE 75,and living in the household of of Inman) may the Mother of Inman,Rosanna, and Alla.---however,I can't find a Stephens husband for Priscilla.. Would greatly appreciate a reply,as I am stymied at this point. My thanks to all the county and regional researchers. !! William J Stephens,
