Sarah Mustaine Skinner was born 1842 in Griswoldville, Ga. and died 1901 in Jones Co., Ga. She first married John G. Patton who was killed at the 2nd Battle of Manassas on Aug. 20, 1862. Her second marriage was to David W. Lester, Jr. on Sept. 25, 1866 in Griswoldville, Ga. In an attempt to determine her ancestors and, ultimately, her "Skinner" line, I posted a query on this forum in 1999. Skinner, age 8, born in Georgia Brooks Skinner, age 3, born in Georgia George L. Willy, age 26, living with them, born in Georgia I am a descendent of her second marriage to David W. Lester, Jr. Their children were: Lovick Pierce Lester born May 23, 1878 (my grandfather) Illda Lester Annie Lester Gertrude G. Lester born 1872 Maud L.
