Gary Cooper just typed up one more page for the 1820 Census....so I've added it. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/jones/census.htm I would so like to get this 1820 Jones Census on-line.... right now the page is jumbled, but I want to have on-line whatever anyone has sent to me . Gary's transcription is the TOTAL listing for the page --- but I'd be very satisfied if we could just get a listing of the NAMES ..... and then we can work from there. Those early census are very tedious to work with --- but the early ones are so critical for researchers whose ancestors came through Jones County. I was hoping we could build a team --- with each person doing just ONE page.... Let me know if you might be able to help out.... This census is on-line in Ancestry, and also on microfilm at libraries... Virginia Crilley
