I can tell you who John and Charles Evans were. Don't know Absulum Evans. Know a little bit about the Stillwells. Judy Penrod Purcell Duncanville, TX
My ancestor, John Evans Tudor, married Mary Ann Crowell in Jones County, GA, on 9 July 1812. John Cook, Justice of the Peace, married the couple. The only record of this marriage is from Mary's statement in her application, as John's widow, for a bounty land grant. Their first two children were b. in GA: Robertson S. Tudor, b. 8 Sep 1813, and George Washington Tudor, b. abt 1815. By 1821, the family was in Livingston Co., KY. Does anyone have a Tudor connected to their family in Jones Co.? I'm trying also to find a connection to John Evans and/or his family. Judy, have you seen a Tudor connection anywhere in your Evans line?
