Where can I find information that would be helpful in my genealogy? My Great Grandfather JOHN GERARDINE TYSON was a civilian that was shipped with the troops and did all sorts of repair and made items the troops needed. He was moved to Macon by train after/before the battle at Rasaca. He remained in Macon till the end of the war. Thanks for any local knowledge etc. that might help fill in the gaps. Judy T.
