This reference also shows his son and family (John Holliday, Jr. w/wife & children) also accompanied them. I found a reference that says John, Sr.'s wife was Milly(?) Jarrett, daughter of Fadda Jarrett. I know John, Jr.'s wife was Lutitia Moon and they lived in Washington, GA, I believe. John, Jr. died abt. 1828 in Washington, GA and his widow and children (5 sons and some daughters) were granted land, and moved into the Troup Co., GA/Chambers Co., AL area between 1835 and 1840. They are found in the 1840 Chambers Co., AL census. One of these daughters married my g-grandfather Thomas Hall Simonton in Chambers Co., AL in 1839. I would like to correspond with any descendants of this family of Hollidays, as they are my ancestors.
