William Q. Coulter was the son of William Coulter and probably Sarah Martin of Jones County, Georgia. The younger William was probably the grandson of Jesse Coulter of Green County, Georgia which later became Hancock County. William Q. Coulter was born about 1824 in Georgia and died in Jones County, Georgia between 1855 and 1860. William married Elizabeth Bradley on November 19, 1844 in Jones County. She was the daughter of Dennis Bradley and Mary Hodges. Elizabeth was born about 1827 and died August 10, 1898 in Jones County. I understand Elizabeth was a midwife and rode around the countryside on horseback. William Q.
