I need to know if he was the same man as Nathaniel Posey who appears buying land in AL in 1822. My Nathaniel Posey was said to have been m. to a Sarah Dennis. I've never found a m. record and since the father and several other related Posey families where just north in Jasper Co at the time I think he could be the same man. Two of Nathaniel's sisters m. DENNIS men from Lincoln Co. and moved to the same area of AL at the same time and were joined by their father shortly after. I would be especially interested if Nat Posey married one of the dau. of the DENNIS families in Jones Co. who I've been trying to connect to for years. It would also be useful to know if this Nat Posey shows up on tax digests or other sources after 1822 if anyone has access to info.
