Paul, born about 1826. I think her father was William Paul, born about 1782 in NC. He is on the 1850 Jones County census, with second wife Mary Stephenson (married Feb. 2, 1840), and children John, born 1829, Lucy, born 1836, Mary, born 1841, Martha, born 1843, William, born 1847, and Jabey, born 1848. I think her brother was Charles Paul, also on the 1850 census, with wife Lucy, William, born 1843, and Sarah, born 1846. Sara married James M. Reynolds on Feb. 2, 1841 in Jones County, and had daughter Ann Eliza in 1848. James died in Houston County in 1853, and she remarried John J. Allen of Macon on June 3, 1853. Ann Eliza married Dr. James C. Johnson of Houston County. John and Sara had a daughter Georgia in 1855, who married Edward Coke Pearce in 1871. Is this the same William Paul?
