Laura: I wonder if your James Jones had any siblings. My great-grandmother, Eliza Jane Jones, was born in Jones County Georgia on 19 July 1821. She married William Crawford Newton on 12 November 1846, also in Jones County Georgia. They moved around Georgia, Alabama and maybe Florida before coming to East Texas in 1871. I have never been able to find out anything about either of their families. Any help would be appreciated. Bill Newton
