I have been informed by my cousin, who was custodian of the old County Line Primitive Baptist Church Books that date back to 1809, that the books were placed in the Washington Memorial Library in Macon, Georgia. I believe they have also been photographed by the Georgia State Archives. The old County Line Church was located on or near the Jasper County-Jones County line. I remember seeing these books several years ago. The books included church business and deeds. Many names of early settlers were listed. This may be of interest to researchers who had ancestors living in southern Jasper County or northern Jones County. Gene Funderburk
