Donna, The Washington Memorial Library in Macon has a four-volume set of books on the history of Jones Co in their genealogy department. It mostly contains censuses, a few marriage records, and court documents. I don't have the exact name of it or who wrote it, though. I'll be at the library next week, so if you haven't gotten the name of the books by then, I could check on it for you. I don't recall if there are any family bios in them or not.
