Also a bed n breakfast located on the Jarrell Plantation about 15 - 20 miles from Gray but still in Jones County. If anyone has had personal experience in visiting Gray or in visiting the Courthouse, would you please tell us about it. Most courthouses in GA are very friendly and helpful, although most clerks really have very little interest in genealogy. I understand that the Tax Office does have maps, but I have been unable to reach them by phone....it was always busy.
