These are abstracts from a Book "Wilkinson County Early Abstracts" . I copied the pages with the names I was searching, but as You know, we end up with extra stuff as well. Male members who constituted the church were Elijah Hammack, a minister, Jesse Pierce, wife Winnie Lee, Moses Justice, wife Sallie Goodson, Richrad Smith (this may have been Richard Williams), Daniel Hooks, George Martin and Thomas Hughs. Women who helped in the organization were: Alcy Hammack, wife of the minister, Elizabeth Pierce, a widow, nee Roberts, Clarissa Williams, Agnes Smith, widow or wife of James, perhaps nee Culpepper, Elizabeth Keel, Rchael Hooks, wife of Daniel, and Elvina Hughs. Following athe dispute over the Missions and Reforms, many of its members went over to the Pleasant Plains and Mount Olive Churches and possibly othe Primitive Baptist Churches. Big Sandy has remained in the Missionary Baptist Association and is located in the south prtion of the county in a populous community. It is active today. (1978) Members from 1810 to 1861 were: (many members withdrew especially in the 1830's at which time there was a movement of people migration to states west of Georgia, especially Texas).
