    3. Joe, Falling Creek is a watercourse running thru Jones County from its northern line with Jasper County, and courses south-southwest until it empties into the Ocmulgee River near the Dames Ferry site. I'm not sure if there was a military district called Falling Creek or not, perhaps others on this list can help here. However, after looking at the 1811 Jones County Tax Digest, many names listed in Captain C.B. Harrison's District identifies land locations as being in the Falling Creek section. It appears that all lands in the 1811 digest were identified by the major water course that the property was located on or near. Other Jones County Posters: Can you help Joe?
