I reside a mile north of Gray in Jones County, and will be happy to answer questions about Gray and the community of Jones County. I'm not a historian though. Gray is 16 miles north of Macon on US 129. It's about 18 miles southwest of Milledgeville. Our Probate Jude is Mike Green and his office is located in the Jones County Courthouse (There is also a Jones County Government Center 1 mile north of Gray on GA Hwy 11 that holds other government offices).
