I am desperately seeking the name of the ggggrandfather. My gggrandfather was Greene Ferguson who married Milly Chapman in Jones County in 1827. Greene was born in Talbot County and later lived in died in Upson County. Milly Chapman was his first wife. I find in Jones County a Joseph Ferguson married to Emily Dubose. I have always believed that Greene's father's name was Joseph. His first son was named Young Joseph and he had a daughter named Emily. The ages would be about right.
