I too am a descendant of William Crawford Newton, born 9/5/1824 and Eliza Jane Jones, born 7/19/1821, both in Jones County Georgia. I believe Frederick Newton and Sarah from Wayne County North Carolina were William Crawford's parents. My information indicates his siblings were Isaac, born in 1820, Nancy, born in 1828, Mary A., born in 1827 and John Leroy, born in 1830. Isaac Newton and Sarah Jones had a daughter named Martha.
