Does anyone have any specific information about Sterling Mitchell's passport, i.e., the year(s) for which the passport was issued and how Sterling mapped out his travels? Any letters, diaries, or journals about his travels? In general, how were Creek Nation passport's obtained? How did one qualify and to whom did these early Mitchells apply for a Creek Indian Nation passport? What was the trade value and/or practical value of the passport and, in general, how were these passports presented to the Creek Indian Nation and to whom? How were these passports used?
