I sort of did a quick run-about this afternoon, doing some checking on the surrounding counties of Jones in Hancock, Baldwin, Butts, and Putnam. If there are no objections to me posting the surnames found in those counties, I will try to do that later on in order that those of you on the mailing list can determine if your ancestor might have migrated into one of these 4. For some reason, Jasper, Newton and Henry was not listed on the CD. Eventually, I will try to broaden out a little for I know I had ancestors in Greene and Morgan counties. I did notice some of the same surnames that your requests asked for in the past few days so perhaps they might be found yet. Some of you asked for information regarding the CD I am using so will post that data here for all to see. I do not know how to order the CD or the cost since it was passed on to me from an older cousin who decided he no longer had the time to pursue his genealogical work. I decided against posting anything, per se, since it is copyrighted material but will continue to honor all requests that I receive as time permits. One thing is certain.....this is certainly one of the nicest groups of people I have encountered in my searches.
