William Williams d. in Barbour County, AL, in NOV 1846. His wife's name was Elizabeth (-?-). With several children, William migrated from NC about 1803, to Jones Co.(?), GA, then moved on around 1817 to the area of the Mississippi Territory that would become Henry Co., AL, in 1819. There were eleven children total, but Elizabeth may have been William's second or third wife. Does anyone know anything about William and Elizabeth? Where in NC? Parents? Braddock Williams, born ca. 1798, in NC, was one of William's sons. He married Sarah D. Williams on 22 DEC 1822, in Henry County, AL. She was born ca. 1803, in GA. Braddock appears in the Walton County List of Florida Voters in Their First Statewide Election, May 26, 1845. He served as Keeper of Cape St. George Lighthouse, FL, and Keeper of Cape San Blas Lighthouse, FL. His service began 23 FEB 1854 and continued until his resignation from the U.S. Lighthouse Service on 13 JAN 1879. Does anyone know anything about Sarah D.? According to a census report, her parents were Virginians. Thanks.
