Did anyone see anything else about this REv. War Dedication and teh Childs cemetery? This was sent to us from a newspaper, and I'd really like to know how to follow up. It must have been with the SAR or DAR.....does anyone have any contacts so we could get the exact data on the cemetery?? Childs marker dedication set - January 2000 Location: The cemetery is located on Juliette Road in the Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge. This road runs from Forsyth, crossing Hwy. 87 at Juliette and runs to State Hwy. 11, near Round Oak. Signs will be placed at the intersection of Hwy. 87 and Juliette Rd., and at the intersection of Juliette Road and State Hwy. 11, then follow signs to the cemetery. All descendants and other interested persons are cordially invited to attend a ceremony dedicating a marker for the grave of John Childs, Sr., Revolutionary Soldier, on January 22, 2000 at 2 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the Childs Cemetery in Jones County.
