I do recall reading many of Mr. Griswold's "memoirs" which were published originally in the Jones County News. The author of the cited book republished them in her excellent work. I don't know of any other publication of these articles. Some genealogy libraries have the Jones County News on microfilm but you would probably have to search the pages for the articles. That would make a wonderful contribution is someone is able to research the Jones County Newspapers on microfilm and type up Mr. Griswold's memories!! Several counties have people transcribing from newspapers, and they have uncovered so many new items. I'd love to put them on-line!!
