I am working on the Faglie/Faglier family and there are connections with the Dixon Family. This slip of paper that you have is a great find. I start Dixon line with a Thomas Dixon, about 1690 Isle of Wight, Va. My Olin Dixon is the son of Joseph Newton Dixon. He was born 26 Apr 1910 and died 20 Dec 1999 . Any additional help appreciated. Thank you Bob Klisavage ************************** Olin Dixon's delayed birth certificate shows DOB as 26 April 1911 and his father was Joseph Newborn Dixon. Please share your information on Thomas Dixon of the Isle of Wright, VA. I have traced the Dixon line as far back as Bynum Dixon; YOB: 1799. His birthplace is given as North Carolina, possibly Edgecomb Cty, NC. The line forward as I have it: Bynum Dixon Purtiman Dixon Joseph Newborn Dixon Olin Lamar Dixon I will be glad to exchange information regarding the Dixon line. My father was William Allen Dixon, son of Joseph Newborn Dixon. I scanned the Glover scrap of paper and forwarded to Meloney. Hopefully, she will forward to the Jefferson site. I failed to do that.
