Penelope LANE (1773-1846), wife of Robert C. DANIEL (ABt 1765-AFT 1830) was the d/o Capt, Isham LANE (ABT 1730-1801) of Greene County, NC and UNK wife, maybe a BRYAN. I think Isham was a brother of Levin LANE (ABt 1730-1790) of Jones County, NC but that is a guess. He married Penelope BRYAN, d/o Edward and Ann "Nancy" DEPITT. John R.
