    3. Margie, The THOMPSON I really look at around this bunch is Capt. Reuben THOMPSON RS-NC (1765-1855) who married Rachel CHAMBERS. Rachel is a big name around a lot of my bunch. These THOMPSONS lived in Emanuel County, GA. I do not have a Mary in this THOMPSON bunch but I have a Sarah who married Rev. Jordan FLANDERS of Emanuel County, GA. I also know that Jordan was clerk in Emanuel County, GA, a position recently vacated Rev. Elijah Hosea CALLAWAY who moved to Jackson County, FL. My friend, Mrs. Lucy GRAY of Pensacola, FL is a descendant of this CALLAWAY family because Rev. CALLAWAY's daughter, Sarah Ann Caroline CALLAWAY, married Josiah DANIEL (1804-1853) of Campbellton, Jackson County, FL. Josiah was the son of a William DANIEL and a Betsy WATTS, d/o John WATTS. As for the HADDENS, I only carry one HADDEN. Margaret Ann HADDEN (1807-1858) married Beniah Stiles CARSWELL (1806-1868). I do not know who Margaret's parents were. I also have the will of Ann Perry DANIEL (1807-1861) and in this will she says her sister, Maria, married a HARDON. I have often wondered if this HARDON was HADDEN. Ann's husband, James Lane DANIEL (1814-1857) was a younger brother of my GGF, Robert W. DANIEL of Bethany, GA. James married Ann BEF 1845 after the death of his first wife, Mary MURPHEY about 1840. Ann raised James and Mary's daughter, Nancy Collins DANIEL who married Timothy DONOVAN, also of Bethany. Ann's brother, John PERRY (1799-1863) married, I think, Martha PARTIN of Crawford County, GA. After her death ABT 1850, he married Nancy QUINNEY, d/o Hinson QUINNEY and Martha Abigail MARSHALL, also of Jefferson County, GA. I do know that Martha and John had one daughter, Ann Catherine PERRY b. ABt 1830 and she married a Washington BEACHAM of Roberta, Crawford County, GA. I know a BEAUCHAMP, often spelled BEACHAM, married into a PIERCE family in MS and this PIERCE family ties right back into my family in Morgan County, GA. I do not know where the PERRYS were from other than NC but if they are like the DANIELS I would look in the Edgecombe, Johnston, Dobbs or Green County, NC area. My GGF, Robert W. DANIEL also married Julia FLORENCE on 25 May 1841, according to Richmond County, GA marriage records. I do not believe she was a FLORENCE or FLOURANCE but quite possibly a FLOURNOY or FLANDERS, because both of these families are close to my bunch. The girl I have really looked at was Elizabeth Julia FLOURNOY who was born 25 May 1851. Notice the DOB for this FLOURNOY girl because it is the same as the date RWD married her in Jefferson County, GA. Also interesting is this Elizabeth Julia FLOURNOY supposedly was married before and had several minor children and this may be the reason for the double marriage bond required when RWD married her in 1841. Normally a double marriage bond was not required. I also know her father, Robert Watkins FLOURNOY, Sr. was in the area and her brother was an attorney over in Sandersville, Washington County, GA. I can also see why the name, FLOURNOY, was cobbled up by clerks in Richmond County, GA to FLORENCE. The other possibility is he married a FLANDERS in 1841 because this family was close to the DANIELS. John R.
