    2. Regarding the 10/22/1852 will of DANIEL T SMITH - there is some confusion. The title of the typewritten will record is in the name of Daniel T Smith. The body of the will and subsequent statements are in the name of DAVID T SMITH. Also, handwritten minutes from the Court of Ordinary, Book D, 1850-1861, page 57, identify him as DAVID. I had assumed that wills written in 1852 were handwritten. Could there be a transcription error in the Jefferson County Book of Wills? Just wondering...
