I am researching a John S. Berryhill that supposedly married Sarah McGane in Jefferson County, GA on 4 Nov 1818. There are no McGanes in the 1820 Jefferson County, GA census. Could there be an error and she was actually a McGowan? Lynn Farrer mlFarrer@swbell.net
