    3. Margie, I do not normally associate the name, TERRELL, with Jefferson County, GA -- they were located a little north of Jefferson County in Oglethorpe, Greene and Wilkes. The BRASWELLS I also do not associate, normally, with Jefferson County but they may have been down there because they were tied to the FARMERS and this family was an eastern NC family, so they may well have been in Burke and Jefferson. The only Willoughby's I have were up in Pitt County, NC tied to the MOORES. The only THOMPSONS I have in the JC area were the ones down in Emanuel County, GA but they may be part of the same bunch and they supposedly came from Roberson County, NC. John R.
