My 2x great grandparents were Eligah and Elizabeth Foyil Hayslip from Jefferson County. I have seen some research that suggests that Eligah was the son of Zorzbabel and Winnie Green Hayslip, but I have not been able to prove it. I thought that Eligah Hayslip was the son of John and Polly Bass Hayslip also of Jefferson County. I beleive that John was the son of Zorobabel Hayslip. I really haven't been able to prove anything. Some of Eligah's children bare the same names as some of the other Hayslip's; Benjamin H. and William H. My great grandfather was Zean H. Hayslip, who married Elmina McNeely.
