    3. In the spirit of adding information to the archives, I noticed that there may be a link between information for the above cemetery in the archives, and information I have in my files. It's not my direct line, but it may be of help to someone. The Jefferson County archives for the cemetery name the following people as being buried there before being relocated: 1. Thomas H. Hadden, Jr 1/18/1831-7/10/1885 2. Ester Allen Hadden 1805-1885 3. & 4. Infants of James J. Hadden 5. Infant of Samuel L. "Samp" Hadden 6. Zura Newsome 7. Marion Newsome I believe that the Haddens are from the following family named in the 1850 census: 1850 census Jeff Cty 26 75 75 Hadden Thomas 56 M Farming 1,800 acres, born Jeff Cty Ga 27 75 75 Hadden Ester 45 F born Jeff Cty Ga 28 75 75 Hadden Thomas 16 M Farming, born Warren Cty Ga X 29 75 75 Hadden Nancy E 14 F born Warren Cty Ga X 30 75 75 Hadden Milly 12 F born Warren Cty Ga 31 75 75 Hadden Margarette 10 F born Warren Cty Ga 32 75 75 Hadden Brina 8 F born Jeff Cty Ga 33 75 75 Hadden Samuel 21 M Farming born Warren Cty Ga Also living next door was Thomas's eldest son and family: 23 74 74 Hadden Benjamin 26 M Farming 600 acres born Warren Cty Ga 24 74 74 Hadden Jane 24 F born Jeff Cty Ga 25 74 74 Hadden Thomas N 1 M State: Georgia Year: 1850 County: Jefferson Roll: M432_75 Township: District 48 Page: 139 Image: 10 Thomas Hadden, the head of household of the first family, was the son of William Hadden and Elizabeth Hannah, and was mentioned in the will of his grandfather Thomas Hannah, who died 1 Apr 1818 at the home of his daughter, Ellendor McKegney at the McKegney plantation. Thomas was married to (H)ester Allen I also believe that the Thomas H. Hadden from the cemetery may be the father of the above James J Hadden (mother Mary), who was born in June 1865. This James J. was married on 12 Jan 1893 in Glascock County, GA to Lomy Rayburn. If anyone has any corrections or additions to the above, I'd be happy to hear it! Regards Christine
