    3. Margie, I am very glad to finally see some activity on the Jefferson list. In the past when I got a message from the JEFFERSON Mailing List, I had pinch myself to remember which list this was, because the messages were so infrequent. <grin> However, what we need is more family information in the archives to prime the pump on this list. I will try to submit all of the DANIEL information I have to the JC Archives at the GA Genweb Project and hopefully others will do the same. The more stuff we have in the JC archives, the greater the number of folks who will subscribe to the Jefferson County Mailing list. The facts are, the more information we can provide, the more people that will visit our resources. In the "Field of Dreams" a voice kept telling Kevin Costner "If you build it, they will come." Well, if we build it, they will come, too. Not only will they come to our JC website but to our JC mailing list, as well. Not only will we get those whose families lived in Jefferson County but we will get folks from all the surrounding counties, as well. John R.
