    3. Hi, I have the WILLOUGHBYS up with the MOORES and MOYES in Princess Anne County, VA -- early. We know the MOORES and the MOYES followed each other for 300 years, which probably means the WILLOUGHBYS were close. Princess Anne County, VA is also the home of the CANNONS and CASONS, two other families which followed the MOORES and MOYES to the Beaufort and Pitt County, NC area, later. I think the CASONS were related to my DANIEL bunch in Pitt and we know this DANIEL bunch was related to the Capt. James DANIELL (1709-1761) and Jenney HICKS family of Albemarle County, VA - perfect DNA matches with their descendants. The DABNEYS, JEFFERSONS, RANDOLPHS, BLAND, WHITING, PORTER, SWANNS and others, many from Gloucester County, VA are also in this little group and they later roll back to Beaufort and Pitt County, NC. I have not yet found the connections between these families but I feel they connect. They say this MOORE family of Princess Anne County, VA was related to the James MOORE family of Charleston and I do not disagree with that assignment because the Col. Maurice MOORE (1683-1743) family of New Hanover County, NC is all over some of the direct and collaterals of the above mentioned families. Maurice was the son of Gov. James MOORE and Margaret BELLINGER of Charleston, Berkeley County, SC and he was also the best friend of Gov. Robert DANIELL (1646-1718) of Charleston, SC. John R.
