    3. Roy, I'm always trying to get more info on-line for the Indian Wars. Did you visit this page? http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/military/indian.htm There is a search engine just for the Indian Wars, so you might check to see if we have any of yours in a roster already. And if you have the Company and Regiment that they served in or their pension papers, I'd sure love to get those posted on-line. These help others as well. Many of the companies joined together in Columbus, and then went across the river to Alabama for the attacks. From what I've seen, some men didn't necessarily join from within their County Militia, and may be listed in another regiment. We are trying to list them by counties though, as I think this will make it easier. Linda Ayers has done most of the work of typing up these rosters. In fact sometimes we can "piece together" a company by those who share their information. Subject: info Creek Indian War, 1836. Ga.
